Women’s Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC) is thrilled to be selected among few grantee partners for the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland acting through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (“FCDO”) in its flagship programme called What Works to Prevent Violence Against Women & Girls: Impact at Scale.

WOLREC's Executive Director, Ms. Maggie Kathewera Banda, spoke on behalf of Civil Society Organisations in Malawi at the celebrations held at Chigumukire Primary School ground in Chileka, Blantyre.

Women's Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC) has been implementing a women economic empowerment project with funding from USAID through Palladium Called *"Increased Access to financial services."* Since December 2018. The project has received a fifth grant for implementation from November, 2022 to June 2023.
